As i mentioned in the last blog just before christmas,
Beanz had hurt her foot so we were taking a few days off from our adventures and Blog writing
And also we had a little visit to the vets to make sure she was ok ...
Well the vet said it looks like she`s hurt her paw ..( yes i can see that ) I thought to myself,
It looks like a sprain the vet said , OK i replied what shall i do to help her recover ,,Just rest her for a few days and see how she`s is after a weeks worth of pain killers.
So thats what we done , but i was not convinced about the sprain and continued to check her everyday for some sort of sign to whats happened ,,,Well i was amazed ..
About 4 days after going to the vets i was givin her a daily checkup and couldn`t believe what i saw and wish id have taken a few pictures of it , but my main concern was to remove what i found quickly.
OK upon checking her paws i noticed a big maybe just under 1 inch long Big Black Straight thorn coming through the top of her little foot, i couldnt believe what i was seeing it had obviously gone in the bottom and was coming out the top , it looked pretty freaky and i just wanted to get this out of her , She was good as gold and let me see the problem,
after that it was just a matter of pulling it through with my teeth, i know but there was nothing really to grab hold of and teeth worked best, i pulled it out in one quick movement and she never even blinked (tough little cookie)
Amazed that id found it and she was happy now that it was out of her foot she recoverd very quickly and is pretty much back to normal now .
