float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 200px; height: 150px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Q5pvDsK_V-k/SWISppM2sdI/AAAAAAAAACw/c7tRSQ1bRek/s200/beanz+blog+055.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5287809419130089938" border="0" /></a><br />As i mentioned in the last blog just before christmas,<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Beanz</span> had hurt her foot so we were taking a few days off from our adventures and Blog writing<br />And also we had a little visit to the vets to make sure she was ok ...<br /><br />Well the vet said it looks like she`s hurt her paw ..( yes i can see that ) I thought to myself,<br />It looks like a sprain the vet said , OK i replied what shall i do to help her recover ,,Just rest her for a few days and see how she`s is after a weeks worth of pain killers.<br />So thats what we done , but i was not convinced about the sprain and continued to check her everyday for some sort of sign to whats happened ,,,Well i was amazed ..<br />About 4 days after going to the vets i was givin her a daily checkup and couldn`t believe what i saw and wish id have taken a few pictures of it , but my main concern was to remove what i found quickly.<br />OK upon checking her paws i noticed a big maybe just under 1 inch long Big Black Straight thorn coming through the top of her little foot, i couldnt believe what i was seeing it had obviously gone in the bottom and was coming out the top , it looked pretty freaky and i just wanted to get this out of her , She was good as gold and let me see the problem,<br />after that it was just a matter of pulling it through with my teeth, i know but there was nothing really to grab hold of and teeth worked best, i pulled it out in one quick movement and she never even blinked (tough little cookie)<br />Amazed that id found it and she was happy now that it was out of her foot she recoverd very quickly and is pretty much back to normal now .<br /><br />Happy new year everyone<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/3416853252831354975-5490076046568475662?l=beanzthepatterdale.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Beanznoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3416853252831354975.post-58325970220071669102008-12-23T07:09:00.000-08:002008-12-23T07:24:27.896-08:00<span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Unfortunately</span> <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Beanz</span> Has hurt her leg so her little blog reports will be on hold for a few days ,<br />but when we come back hopefully we`ll have some stories from the <span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">malvern</span> hills to tell you all about.<br />Oh and she`s off to see the vet at 4.50 just for a once over...Wish her luck ...<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/3416853252831354975-5832597022007166910?l=beanzthepatterdale.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Beanznoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3416853252831354975.post-11417892930448666622008-12-17T04:40:00.001-08:002009-01-06T02:53:17.404-08:00<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Q5pvDsK_V-k/SUj3lMq6evI/AAAAAAAAACc/tzPzt8TTI6Q/s1600-h/beanz+blog+056.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt;
